It seems like Simon Cowell is still not ready to let go of One Direction. Every time Simon does an interview, he's asked about the boys and if he's involved in their new career paths, even though he feels like he's been pushed out of the picture - he still has no hard feelings towards them.
Simon has said in the past that he felt left out since he wasn't in the loop on their new projects, but does he regret making them what they are today?
On the red carpet for the America's Got Talent finale, Simon said, "I hear so many things now, which they're doing, which I'm not involved with. It's a bit like 'I'm getting the hint you don't want me to come to the party. Sorry for making you famous." .....Eeeeeeek.
He continued, "Look, I'm not going to lie when I hear they're doing something, and they haven't approached me. You think, 'Well I would have liked you to,' but it's their choice. I'm not bitter. Much. I'm very close with some of them, like Louis and Harry is an example, and the great thing about those two is that we sit back and we laugh about all of the crazy times we had and the fun times we had and they've enjoyed it," he said. But what about the other two?!
"You have to look at it that way because it's not a prison sentence. It's an opportunity," he said about their new projects.
Simon got asked about a reunion, and he said, "I hope there will be a reunion, yeah. Yeah. You never know."
All Simon really wanted was to be included or at least notified of their new projects, just like anyone else close to the boys business wise would. I can't imagine how it felt to be left in the dark about all this.
